about

On this newly remastered third solo effort from Divine Weeks frontman Bill See, it's the musical soundscapes that come to the forefront while the voice is tucked back into the mix. That's not to say that there isn't a lot being said, but the sound of the voice is more like another instrument working simpatico with the ambient soundtrack-like music - all of which is driven by a decidedly more dance / trance approach not found on one of Bill's solo records before -- or since. Originally released in 2002, this newly remastered version is a definite sonic upgrade. Definitely the record that feels like an anomaly in his canon. Especially when you take in the added bonus track, the performance piece, "I've Got a Secret" featuring Mary Susan Herczog.
